A bullpup rifle in large 12.7x55mm with a slow cyclic rate and a 20-round magazine. Each hit lands hard, but misses cost a lot. It uses a Comb slot instead of a Rear Grip.

The Oden has 9 attachment categories. In MW4 you unlock each attachment once, and it then works on every weapon that accepts it.

Apex Attachment: Oden Sentinel
Converts the Oden into a semi-auto sniper with a bipod, a dedicated suppressor and a sniper scope.
It blocks the Barrel, Muzzle slot(s). Apex Attachments do not use one of your normal attachment slots, and you unlock this one at weapon level 65.
Getting the Oden in DMZ
The Oden unlocks at player level 39.
In DMZ the player level only matters for leveling, because weapon levels and attachment unlocks are shared with Multiplayer. To actually carry a Oden into Hajin:
- Loot one from enemies, players or military containers. Weapons found in Hajin can have up to 8 attachments.
- Buy it from the Vendor (DMZ level 5) when it is in that day's stock.
- Extract once with the Oden Weapon Manual. After that you can buy the base weapon at the Gunsmith (DMZ level 10) as often as you like and add up to 5 attachments with DMZ Cash.
Any Oden you extract with can also be upgraded at the Gunsmith as a one-off copy. You can carry two weapons in and out of a deployment, or more with a Weapon Backpack.
