Modern Warfare 4 (MW4) guide hub
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC (Xbox app, Battle.net and Steam) and Nintendo Switch 2. It has three modes at launch: a campaign set mostly in South Korea, Multiplayer and the DMZ extraction mode. There is no Zombies mode.

Multiplayer and DMZ share weapon progression: leveling a gun in one mode unlocks its attachments in the other. Each attachment is unlocked only once and then works on every weapon that accepts it. Fully leveling a supported weapon unlocks its unique Apex Attachment, which is new to MW4 and changes how the weapon works.
