MW4 Stranded codes: all 8 keypad solutions

Who it's for: you're at a Stranded keypad and don't want to decode the note.

What you get: all 8 codes, each note's clue, a grid reading and what's inside.

What this isn't: a live map or code generator. Not redeem codes.

Stranded has eight keypads: six shipping containers and two hidden bunkers. All eight codes are below, with the note logic and crate rewards underneath.

KeypadCodeGrid
Base Camp (radio tower)0024644, 158
Base Camp cliff0600646, 150
East Village0078652, 187
South of Jamming Station8609667, 125

Farm Field hidden bunker0330631, 128
NW Island hidden bunker0008615, 169

Grid readings are from launch-week guide tables and differ by up to 8 units between sources. The code is the part that matters; if the keypad is not exactly on the reading, look for the yellow note on the container.

How to enter a Stranded code

  1. Walk up to the keypad. The clue note is stuck next to the container or bunker door; you can skip reading it if you already have the code.
  2. Type all four digits. Keep the leading zeros: 0008, 0024, 0078 and 0330 are four-digit entries, not 8, 24, 78 or 330.
  3. Confirm the entry. The door opens and the Yellow Supply Crate or the bunker supplies are inside.

What each note is telling you

The notes are not random: the three guides listed at the bottom of this page give the same eight numbers, and each note gives a fixed sequence. Every Stranded keypad uses one of three patterns, so if a code ever stops working, the note is what the keypad is still testing.

1. Step pattern: add or subtract the same number

2. Fill-in pattern: one more digit each time

3. Outpost sums: add the numbers on the map

The two bunkers are the tricky ones: the note gives you a sum rather than a sequence. Add the numbers first, then pad the result to four digits with leading zeros.

What is behind the keypads

Each of the six containers holds a Yellow Supply Crate; the NW Island bunker also has one, and both bunkers hold supplies. Rewards are random, so the same crate can give a different item on another run. Prima Games' reward list includes rifles and LMGs with attachments, armour plates and stacks of supplies, which is why the detour is worth it mid-mission: a crate can hand you a better gun for the rest of Stranded.

Prima counted 26 Yellow Supply Crates in the mission. Seven of them sit behind a keypad door (the six containers and the NW Island bunker), so the codes skip the search for those seven rather than the whole collectible hunt. Supplies from the crates and bunkers repair the Base Camp and count toward the Scavenger trophy, while opening every Yellow Supply Crate in Stranded earns Time to Crate.

Missed a keypad, or a code will not take?

Where Stranded sits in the campaign

Stranded is the campaign's most open mission, with several objectives and optional collectibles rather than a single corridor. It holds eight of the campaign's 13 key codes; the other five are in Following Orders, Assassins and Escape. Activision's launch post lists the campaign missions that unlock Operators for Multiplayer and DMZ, which is the main reason to finish the story before settling into the extraction mode. If you are playing the campaign out of order, the MW4 campaign overview lists the setting and the unlock missions, and the Operators page shows what each mission gives you.

Heading into DMZ afterwards? Start with the DMZ guide and the starter loadouts.

FAQ

What is the Base Camp code in MW4 Stranded?

0024. The note lists the old codes 0006, 0012 and 0018, and each one is 6 higher than the last, so 0018 + 6 = 0024.

How many keypad codes are in Stranded?

Eight: six shipping containers and two hidden bunkers. Prima Games counts 13 key codes across the whole campaign, so Stranded holds most of them.

Are the Stranded codes random?

No. All three guides listed on this page give the same eight numbers, and each note gives a fixed sequence, so the same code works on every playthrough. Enter all four digits, including leading zeros such as 0008 and 0330.

Where is the 0330 bunker?

At the Farm Field, around grid 631,128. The note asks for the Logistics Station numbers: 200 + 100 + 20 + 10 = 330, entered as 0330.

What do you get for opening the Stranded keypads?

A Yellow Supply Crate inside each of the six containers; the NW Island bunker also has one, and both bunkers hold supplies. Rewards are random and include weapons, attachments, armour plates and supplies; supplies repair the Base Camp for the Scavenger trophy, and opening every crate earns Time to Crate.

Can you go back for missed keypads?

Yes. Prima Games reports that you can return to the mission at any time for crates you missed, so a keypad is not a one-shot.
