MW4 DMZ missions: Orders and Story Missions
12 DMZ missions have been named so far, and 4 of them are confirmed by Activision. The first confirmed Orders come from the Counterfeit chapter: Hostile Force, Robbery and Execute Intel, copied straight from the official Tac-Map screenshot. The Underground chapter adds Eye in the Sky, Watch for Bumps and Death From Above, which two independent launch-day guides describe the same way.
DMZ early access opened on October 20. Labels: Official means we checked it against an Activision publication. Unconfirmed means it comes from third-party reports. We will update unconfirmed entries once the missions have been seen in the live game.
DMZ Orders: Counterfeit and Underground chapters
DMZ Orders are the main mission chain. They teach each system, tell the story and pay DMZ XP and items. The Counterfeit chapter is copied from the official Tac-Map screenshot. The Underground chapter was checked against two independent early-access walkthroughs published on October 20-21.

Dynamic Operations
Choose one before you infil, or start one from a Dynamic Ops phone in Hajin. Choosing Hunt Operators sends a full rival squad after you.

Rewards: DMZ XP, DMZ Cash and a Supply Drop. Each Dynamic Op you complete in a deployment upgrades the drop: Common, then Uncommon, then Rare.
Story Missions (unconfirmed)
Story Missions are narrative objectives set in specific parts of Hajin, and you can replay them. Activision has not published a list yet. The names below come from third-party coverage of the reveal trailer.

Side Ops
These are smaller tasks you can pick up during a deployment:
- UAV Towers: activate one for DMZ Cash and a pulse that reveals nearby Operators and enemies.
- Radio / Lieutenant Hunt towers: climb one to reveal roughly where a nearby Lieutenant is.
- SAM Sites: hack and defend one so it shoots down enemy aircraft.
- Find lost Supply Drops, or repair broken-down trucks.
Before you take on Orders
- Read an Order's requirements at the FOB, or in the Orders panel on the Tac-Map, before you deploy. Some need better gear or a squad.
- Items needed for a mission go into a dedicated Mission Item slot, so they do not take up backpack space.
- Use the starter loadout guide for what to bring.

The official screenshot shows the Counterfeit chapter. Hostile Force: enter a Police Station, search 3 containers and kill 5 soldiers inside it. Robbery: open a safe and extract with 5,000 in cash value. Execute Intel: hack a UAV Tower in Deadtown, kill 5 pinged NK soldiers and loot their Counterfeit Cash.
How many Story Missions does DMZ have?
Activision has not given a number. Trailer coverage names five so far: Critical Extraction, Silent Ledger, Shopping Hacks, Iron Citadel and Grid Assault.
What unlocks after the second DMZ Order?
The Boss Board at your FOB. You use it to buy intel on Lieutenants.
Can you do Orders and Story Missions at the same time?
Activision suggests checking your Story Mission against your own and your squad's current DMZ Orders, because they sometimes share objectives you can finish in the same deployment.
