Apex Attachment: VEL 46 Snap
A tactical sling for very fast weapon swaps. It enables Quick Draw when paired with Overkill but removes the stock.
It blocks the Stock slot(s). Apex Attachments do not use one of your normal attachment slots, and you unlock this one at weapon level 60.
Getting the VEL 46 in DMZ
Activision's launch post lists the VEL 46 as unlocking at player level 5 in its unlock table and at level 13 in the weapon's own entry. Check your in-game Progression menu to confirm.
In DMZ the player level only matters for leveling, because weapon levels and attachment unlocks are shared with Multiplayer. To actually carry a VEL 46 into Hajin:
- Loot one from enemies, players or military containers. Weapons found in Hajin can have up to 8 attachments.
- Buy it from the Vendor (DMZ level 5) when it is in that day's stock.
- Extract once with the VEL 46 Weapon Manual. After that you can buy the base weapon at the Gunsmith (DMZ level 10) as often as you like and add up to 5 attachments with DMZ Cash.
Any VEL 46 you extract with can also be upgraded at the Gunsmith as a one-off copy. You can carry two weapons in and out of a deployment, or more with a Weapon Backpack.
