Warlord in MW4 DMZ: stats, unlock and Apex Attachment
A dual-tube pump shotgun with a 14-shell capacity. It hits hard up close, but the large tube makes it slow to reload.
How it compares to other shotguns

The Warlord has 10 attachment categories. In MW4 you unlock each attachment once, and it then works on every weapon that accepts it.

We are not publishing our own attachment-by-attachment build until we have tested this weapon in the launch version. Until then, the in-game Gunny optimizer in Create-a-Class and the FOB Gunsmith can suggest close-range, balanced and long-range builds from the attachments you own.
Apex Attachment: Warlord Lumen
A strobe that fires automatically when you aim down sights and blinds enemies. It needs to recharge between uses.
It blocks the Optic, Laser slot(s). Apex Attachments do not use one of your normal attachment slots, and you unlock this one at weapon level 60.
Getting the Warlord in DMZ
The Warlord unlocks at player level 32.
In DMZ the player level only matters for leveling, because weapon levels and attachment unlocks are shared with Multiplayer. To actually carry a Warlord into Hajin:
- Loot one from enemies, players or military containers. Weapons found in Hajin can have up to 8 attachments.
- Buy it from the Vendor (DMZ level 5) when it is in that day's stock.
- Extract once with the Warlord Weapon Manual. After that you can buy the base weapon at the Gunsmith (DMZ level 10) as often as you like and add up to 5 attachments with DMZ Cash.
Any Warlord you extract with can also be upgraded at the Gunsmith as a one-off copy. You can carry two weapons in and out of a deployment, or more with a Weapon Backpack.
