Weapons you can use from day one
In Multiplayer, Create-a-Class opens at player level 4 and these guns are available right away. Leveling them there also unlocks attachments you can use in DMZ, where weapon levels are shared.

FAQ
When does MW4 DMZ come out?
DMZ early access opened on October 20, 2026 for players who pre-ordered Modern Warfare 4 digitally. Everyone else can play when the game launches on October 23, 2026.
What map is MW4 DMZ on?
DMZ takes place in the Hajin Exclusion Zone, a region on the Korean Peninsula that includes Hajin City, the 14th Political Prison, Chang-san Air Base and the Haneul Nuclear Reactor. Activision says it has more than 60 named locations.
Can I use my Multiplayer weapons in DMZ?
Partly. Weapon levels and attachment unlocks are shared between Multiplayer and DMZ, but you cannot simply spawn in with a Multiplayer class. The DMZ Gunsmith unlocks at DMZ level 10, and before you can buy a base weapon there you have to find and extract with that weapon's Weapon Manual. Until then you rely on the Free Loadout, looted guns and the Vendor (from DMZ level 5).
Can you play MW4 DMZ solo?
Yes. DMZ supports both squads and solo play. Launch coverage also describes a Stealth Meter meant to help solo players avoid detection.
